A month ago, I turned 27. This year has been a hard one so far. I went through so many changes that I wasn’t ready for. I was lost and may still feel a little uncertain in my direction, but I’m finding myself again. I am grateful for these moments and for the people in my life who continue to stand by my side.
Been MIA from the blog for a while, but I am taking the time to upload some old photos from my time back in Washington, D.C. My heart misses my old home very much, but I’m so happy here in San Francisco. During the summer, I went to the Fun House exhibition with Jen at the National Building Museum.
“My life’s u n c e r t a i n and sometimes it’s strange
But one thing I’ve learned is it won’t stay the same
Even in the darkness, I’ll be okay
The sun will come up, the seasons will change.”

A few weeks ago, I traveled to Barcelona with my sister and best friend. We were in Spain for a week, spending time in Barcelona and Mallorca. During our first three days in Barcelona, we checked out the Antoni Gaudi buildings and ate a lot of tapas. Oh yes, we made sure to fit in some siesta time for our busy days.
Looking at 2018 with my head up high. Here’s to accomplishing a few more dreams, giving a whole lot of joy and love, and taking on some bigger risks.
We shouldn’t resent the loss of old friendships or relationships from our lives, but to reflect and remember the value they have given us.
It’s the only way to positively live a happy life.
Day by day, I have learned to understand how much this way of thinking gives me clarity.
