Hungry? Me, too. It’s too bad I’m writing this post the day after I made these delicious and fresh whole wheat pita wraps. These are perfect for on the go (take it to work, picnic, etc.) – quick and easy to make – and all the ingredients are simple and probably already in your kitchen!
INGREDIENTS
Whole wheat pita bread, baby greens, spinach, carrots, chicken deli slices, and peanut sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
Place the whole wheat pita bread on a cutting board. Use a knife to spread the peanut sauce all over the pita bread (use as much as desired – the peanut sauce gives the pita wrap a delicious flavor). Next, throw the following ingredients onto the wrap to fill it up. Add spinach on top. Then, slice a few pieces of avocados, and add them on top of the spinach (I didn’t use the entire avocado, so usually half of one is enough unless you love them enough to go wild with more). After that, shred the chicken deli into little pieces so it’s scattered around the wrap. Proceed to add carrots to brighten up your wrap with more color. Who doesn’t love a visually good looking meal? Finally, top off the wrap with baby greens to make the wrap healthy and fresh!
A note to vegetarians: You can make this too without the chicken!
Come up to Quebec and make these for me, s’il te plaît? They look so yummy. And you can never go wrong with a pita! Keep creating, ks! I love your kitchen adventures.
THIS LOOKS SO DELISH
