The Natural Look

Art Museum-001

I think I might be the last person to write about makeup because I’m no beauty blogger or vlogger. Shout out to all of the talented beauty vloggers out there though. I admire all of their YouTube videos and how dedicated they are to helping us girls, who are clueless about applying makeup on for special occasions or the everyday casual look. Really, it’s a lot of work. I barely even wear makeup because I think I look like a clown when I put eye liner on. So, thank you to those beauty bloggers who help out.

And so you’re wondering why I’m writing about makeup then. I love makeup. I think it’s great how it makes us feel. It’s like art, and we dive into the makeup pallet to create a new alluring look. Whether it may be the natural look, for a gala, night out, or casual; we experiment and want to look beautiful.

Thanks to my friend Jess for modeling for me with her natural look. She dressed up for volunteering at a charity event for the St. Jude’s Hospital by wearing a little black dress (girls, we all need one in our closets). For her makeup: Burt’s Bee’s Replenishing Lip Balm  // NARS Eyeliner Pencil // CoverGirl TruBlend Foundation

What do you think of the natural look? I love to hear about some of your favorite makeup products.

  1. What a hottie. 😉 I love the look, especially when you’re volunteering but still have to look put together. The event is not about you, it’s about helping others, but you show you care and take it seriously by putting in some time to look your best. Great job!
