This week, I am exhausted.
I am exhausted because this country was struck with 2 mass shootings in one day.
This blog post isn’t about my urgent request for gun control or my frustration with the President. This blog post is merely expressing my exhaustion.
I need to take one deep breath of relief.
I hope everyone is taking care of themselves.
Since moving here, I have met so many kind and passionate new people who came to California for a fresh start. They were either leaving a toxic job environment, going through a bad breakup, or couldn’t stand to live at home anymore. A friend asked me why I moved, “What are you running from?” Not running, but chasing. I’m here to chase after new experiences. I want to take more jumps in my life and see where I land. I’m constantly terrified and excited about the changes and decisions that I come across every day, but it only makes life more thrilling. May we continue to focus on the people and moments that bring us joy, love, and laughter. Let’s teach each other how to live fearlessly.
